Our Story
CEDESOTA is a non-government organization established in 2006 to support organized actions and community initiatives towards addressing poverty issues. The organization was officially registered as a national NGO under the NGO act, number 2 of 2002 on 15tth June 2010 with registration number 00NGO/00003908. The CEDESOTA head office is housed in Arusha. In July 2010, the NGO has opened its first branch in Dodoma.

Our Mission
CEDESOTA is committed to improve people’s livelihood through better utilization of resources, improving human health, education, water availability, environment management and advocacy for women and children rights including people living with HIV/AIDS.

To Educate Citizens to participate in the public life of democracy and governance, to use their rights and to discharge their responsibilities with the necessary knowledge, skills to create a platform for gender equity for all citizens.
